Oh Boyd's!

Our trip to Nevada, 2014

Annabell sitting on her Grandparent's porch before we left to California!

So, I made my blog post about our amazing trip to California, it's time to blog about our wonderful time in Nevada!
After our visit to California, we headed to Nevada to visit Dan's family before taking off to Germany for 4 long years. Annabell had the time of her life visiting her Mi-ma and Pi-pa. She came up with their names all on her own and I think it's the cutest thing ever. Two weeks after saying our goodbyes to them she still asks for them constantly, I can't wait until we move into our home and get working internet so Annabell can skype and facetime all her family! I already know she is going to be so excited to see everyone again, even if it's just over the computer.

Right: Anna and her Mi-ma while waiting for our food at Cracker-Barrel!
We were lucky enough to have Mark and Beckey travel all the way to Arkansas to pick us up and help us move things into storage. It was the longest road trip ever, but Anna had a blast hanging out with her grandparents! I can't thank them enough for all they have done for us, I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't offered to help us move. We most likely wouldn't have been able to visit all of our family before heading to Germany if they hadn't helped us, so we are incredibly grateful.

Bubbles, there were bubbles everywhere in the Boyd house while Anna was there!

Top right: Annabell with her Uncle Justin and his girlfriend Sam, Anna loved her!
Bottom left: Anna with her Uncle Josh, they were always goofing around!
Bottom right: Jessica and I looked like midgets in these fun house mirrors, lol.

Right: Anna with her Great Grandpa Ray!
Not only did Anna have a blast hanging out with her Mi-ma and Pi-pa the entire time, she LOVED her Aunt Jessie and both of her uncles that live in Nevada too. It's insane to me that they are all grown up now. When I met them they were so young, now all of them are making lives for themselves and doing adult things, lol.

Jessica is now married and expecting a baby girl later this year, I can't wait to see pictures when she's born!
Justin got a job working at the state prison and is in the process of getting his own house!
Josh just recently graduated high school and is working, he is the baby of the family so he's just barely starting out but we know he is going to be great things in his future.

Annabell also got to see her Great-Grandparents at Jessica's wedding! :)
She was too exhausted to take a decent picture, but she was so sad when they had to leave!

One of the neatest things we got to see while we were in Nevada was visit the Charcoal Ovens & visit an abandoned ore factory (storage place, I'm not quite sure what it was called!). Sadly we had to leave early before I could get some more pictures because Anna had her first ever accident outside of the house that day. The ONE day I didn't bring her extra clothes, of course! The entire time we were walking around she kept crying but wouldn't tell us why. I finally got down on my knees, looked at her and asked her what was wrong, she instantly wet herself. After that all was right again in her world, lol.
Definitely made it a trip to remember!

Sadly we are missing Devin, Miranda, Avery, Hallie & Derek, the rest of the Boyd kids!

Sadly we are missing Devin, Miranda, Avery, Hallie & Derek, the rest of the Boyd clan!
Annabell with her Mi-ma and Pi-pa, the last picture I took of them all at the airport before we boarded our plane.
Goodbye's are always hard for me, I know it's not goodbye forever, but it still doesn't get any easier. I hate seeing everyone upset, especially Annabell. When our flight started boarding we all waiting until the absolute last second because none of us were ready for that final farewell. It honestly didn't ht me until Anna realized that her Mi-ma and Pi-pa weren't coming with us. Poor baby was so upset, she is so in love with her grandparents and was so use to always having them with us that when they started to walk away she just kept calling after them. That broke my heart. But, it's not goodbye forever, just until Mark can trick Beckey onto a plane to Germany, lol.

We had so much fun with all of Dan's family, Annabell especially!
We already can't wait to see everyone again :)

Annabell shenanigans!

Like father, like daughter!
