I feel like all we did this week was go to the park. The weather has been so gorgeous the last few days, it's reminded me so much of home. I forgot how much I loved Spring, aside from allergies. It's probably my favorite season, especially here in Germany. The flowers are all in full bloom and the trees are finally green again. Annabell and I have taken full advantage of getting in as many park days as we can before Germany decides to dump rain and cold weather on us again!
She's such a diva!
Annabell and Khaleesi are constantly attached to the hip. Right before I took this picture Annabell was leaned over with her head right next to Khaleesi's, but of course the second I pull out the camera Annabell has to turn away with that famous 3 year old attitude.
Since Dan works weekend this month, we spent all of today hanging out at the park. Annabell always has so much fun. On good days there are other kids her age there and they play with her, on bad days we go down and there are only older kids and they can be SO mean to her. She follows them around trying to play and they tell her to go away, it breaks her heart, which breaks my heart.
But, most days I plan with my friends and they bring their kids down to play, which is always fun for both Annabell & myself. I need to start bringing my camera so I can get more photos of the kids playing!
Annabell was able to get a park date in with her friend Bk. They had such a blast chasing each other around, I'm so glad Dina took this picture of them! Bk calls Annabell "Rainbow" which I think is the cutest thing ever, and Annabell has started calling Bk "Harry Potter" after our weekend long Harry Potter marathon, lol!
It's now Day 18 of my 90 Day workout challenge and it's been SO much fun. I forgot how much I actually enjoyed working out and having Anna as my workout partner is a blast. She refuses to let me be lazy, every day without fail she pulls out our workout mats and our weights and begs me to turn on the music. She takes her fitness very seriously, lol.
One of the biggest highlights of my week was finally learning how to do a braided crown & a fish tail braid. It only took me 3 years to learn after many, many failed attempts, but hopefully by the time Annabell starts school I'll be a pro at all the cute hairstyles. AND, hopefully she will sit still enough to let me experiment on her hair. Having a child with gorgeous mermaid hair that HATES having her hair touched makes it very, very hard to learn. So if you ever see us in public and Anna has the messiest, craziest hair ever, don't judge me.
