26/52 - 27/52

27/52
I've been so horrible about updating this lately. Now that I'm officially on the hunt for a job, I'll probably fall behind more than once on updating this throughout the rest of the year. Next year, I'm going back to updating this blog monthly, MAYBE bi-monthly, lol.

This week, Annabell complained constantly about my tattoo. She is still mad at me for not giving Ariel a tail, or a face. So, I let her draw them on herself with washable marker. She LOVED it and had a blast showing off her creative little mind.

I may have to use some of her cute coloring when I finally get this tattoo finished. I have much more to add, including color. I planned on getting it finished, but then we got orders to Germany and my tattoo dreams were put on hold. Only 3 more years, lol.

Annabell and Khaleesi spent most of the heat wave hanging out on the patio, not that it was any cooler, but at least they got a bit of a breeze while siting outside.

When Anna wasn't hanging outside, she was taking over the living room and watching Gremlins & Gremlins 2 on repeat. Gizmo is her favorite. It worked out for me because I spent the evenings playing Diablo with my dad, lol.

We FINALLY had a fun little play date with our friends. We hadn't seen them in awhile due to busy schedules and the horrible heat. Annabell had a blast hanging out at the park with her friends and wasn't very happy when it was time to go home. They are pretty cute together when they aren't fighting over toys!

Annabell made a pretty big decision this week, she finally decided on a birthday theme for her 4th birthday party this year! Monster High is it! She is super excited and keeps asking if it's her birthday yet because she wants to party. Her birthday is next month, but we are throwing her party a couple weeks late due to us moving & Dan going TDY in August. Best part about this age, she's finally excited for a party, but she doesn't know we aren't throwing it on her birthday haha.

Onto this week!
This week is a pretty busy one for us. We had our housing pre-inspection, basically they come and tell us what we need to fix before our actual moving-out inspection later next month. We passed with flying colors, there honestly wasn't a single thing we needed to fix or clean. They laughed and told us as soon as we move our furniture out we could pass instantly. So high-five for Dan & I for being clean freaks, lol. We are looking at our first off-base house on Friday and I can't wait.
Now that we are looking at houses, it's finally getting real that we are moving off-base.

4th of July weekend we spent hanging out with awesome friends, eating amazing food and playing hilarious games. I love having friends we can spent holidays with now that we aren't in the same country as our families.

Annabell picked out her own outfit and let me do her hair for once. I love how perfectly her hair curls. I always complain about her hair because it's impossible to brush, but I seriously LOVE her hair. I wish mine was as long as hers is already.

The base was having a live Sesame Street showing this week that was free for all military families, so of course I had to beg Dan all weekend to take Anna. We literally spend 30 minutes driving around base looking for this building and almost missed the show. Luckily, we found it and walked in right as the show was starting. I think Anna was the only kid that was terrified of Elmo and his friends, haha. The first half of the show she spent hiding in Dan's chest, and it wasn't until I took her to the back of the room and calmed her down that she was able to watch the show and have fun. It was a super cute show & I hope the next one she goes to she doesn't freak out and hide, lol.

Until next week,,
