Adventures in September

The last month has been incredibly fun, but incredibly busy!
We finally moved into our new home, we've gone out and tried some new foods, shopped at local stores & braved driving here in Germany. The roads here are pretty intimidating, especially trying to understand the billion road signs in German, lol.

Anna is loving having her life back to normal!
Our New Home

I am in love with our home here. There is nothing I would change about it, except maybe add a second bathroom, lol. It's the perfect size for us, Anna has her own room and it is huge, it's about the size of the master bedroom we had while we lived in Arkansas. Pictures really don't do this home justice and for being base housing, it's really nice. We were lucky enough to get the 1st floor AND our back patio is against a gorgeous little forest. I love that I can go out back and not see a bunch of other people hanging out on their back patios and smoking.

We even have friendly neighborhood cats!
One day I walked out onto the patio and there were a ton of birds out in the trees making a ton of noise and I thought to myself “why can’t there be a flock of cats outside instead of loud birds”. As SOON as I thought it I looked to my left and saw a cat walking out of the bushes, so I called out to it. It looked my way and then came running, along with FOUR other kittens! I swear to god I thought it and then it happened. Annabell was SO excited and I yelled for Dan to come outside and he was cracking up laughing because the cats just sat in front of our balcony staring up at us. Anna had a blast throwing some food down to them and I went and gave them some water. They were way too skittish to let me touch them, but they were so adorable. They hung out staring at us for over two hours before we went inside. Annabell now thinks her cats live outside and has been asking to go say hi to them all month.

Like father, like daughter.
 Getting out of the house

Now that we are settling in here, every weekend we try to go out and try a new restaurant out on the town. We've tried multiple sushi restaurants, pizza (Anna's favorite!) and we ate food at the Bazaar they put together on base. Annabell refused to eat most of the food, but had fun feeding Dan fried pickles, lol. Sushi and funnel cakes have been my favorite so far.

This sushi restaurant was pretty good, it was all you can eat and I can't wait to go back and try all the different kinds of sushi they serve there.
Dan put a slice of pizza on Anna's plate and she was just a littttttle excited.

Funnel cakes & fried pickles at the Bazaar!

Just some extra Annabell having fun!

Have some cute photos of Anna since nobody can ever get enough of her, lol.
Between gelato dates and drinking her coffee (milk and a tab bit of creamer) this kid always keeps me laughing! She loves to play dress up & anytime we have to go out of the house she refuses to let us pick her outfits. Most of the time she picks the brightest colored pants she owns, lol.

Anytime we go to the commissary she begs us to buy her cupcakes and then she asks to eat them outside so she can watch her cats run around, lol.

Annabell got a surprise package from her Grandparents last week. Every time Dan comes home with a box she instantly thinks it's for her. :)
