Goodbye, October!

October 2014

It seems like this month has completely flown by, I can't believe we are already preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. October has always been one of my favorite months of the year & this year Annabell was finally old enough to understand what Halloween was, which made it 10x better. Dan was deployed last year during all the holidays, so we are extremely grateful to have him home this year to celebrate with us. From picking out pumpkins, to seeing our first castle here in Germany, October has been a pretty amazing month for us.

Annabell was excited that she got to pick out her own pumpkin this year. :)

Burg Nanstein - Nanstein Castle

We finally got around to seeing our first castle here in Germany. It was a smaller castle and there was a ton of restorations taking place on the castle itself, but it was beautiful. Dan jokingly told Annabell on the way to the castle that we were "going to Elsa's castle". The ENTIRE time we were there Anna kept asking us where Elsa was and was very upset when we told her Elsa wasn't there. On the way down from one of the towers we saw that there was a couple getting their wedding photos done & the bride was a gorgeous blonde lady who definitely looked like Elsa! Annabell was ecstatic and was constantly trying to wave to her and calling her "prettiful Elsa".
Afterwards Anna was all smiles for photos!

Princess Snow White & Cinderella
The day I found out that Annabell was going to be a girl, I dreamed of the day that I could do adorable princess photo shoots with her. At 3 years old, that day has finally come. She LOVES dressing up, every day she wears one of her princess dresses and asks me to take pictures of her. One day she came out of her room wearing her Snow White dress and since it was nice outside, I decided to try our first ever, princess photo shoot. She loved it & even though I'm no pro, I think the photos came out pretty amazing!

About a week after her adorable Snow White photo shoot, Annabell came to me asking for a Cinderella one. It was chilly this time & the sun was not cooperating with us, but I still think they are adorable. Annabell loves seeing all her princess photos and next she says she wants to be Rapunzel or Merida, she is such a great little model. :)

Halloween
Annabell had such a blast trick or treating this year! Everyone thought she was so polite because she always said please and thank you. Instead of saying “trick or treat” though she kept saying “Hi, I’m Snow White!”. It was the cutest ever & we already can’t wait until next Halloween.
