2014 was such a crazy year for our family. We brought in the New Year with my family, and later that week Annabell went to Disneyland for the first time. We welcomed Dan home from his first deployment & finally had our family of 3 back together. Dan got orders to Germany and a couple months later we were saying goodbye to all our friends in Arkansas and moving from our first home. Saying goodbye to our best friends was by far one the the hardest goodbyes I've ever had. I know we will ALWAYS see our families, but being a military family doesn't guarantee that we will see our best friends again any time soon. We were able to go back to California and Nevada to visit family one last time before leaving to Germany, that vacation was by far the best one I've had and I can't wait until we are able to go back and visit everyone. We finally began our long journey to Germany and moved into our new home for the next 4 years. Annabell also turned 3, and turned into the sassiest more independent toddler I've ever met.
Now, it's 2015 and this will be our first whole year in Germany, I can't wait to see what this year brings for our family.
New Year's 2015
I didn't take many pictures yesterday because we spent the entire time playing video games. Dan played some zombie game while I played World of Warcraft, and Annabell played barbie's in her room while dressed up as Princess Sofia. It was a perfect day for us, we sat around the house most of the day and all went to bed early since Dan had to work in the morning. We live such an adventurous life, but at least we didn't wake up with hangover's like most people!
While Dan made an amazing steak dinner for us, Annabell and I took selfies, lol. She may be Dan's twin, but you can't deny that she totally has my chin! ;) Our hair is almost the same color now that my hair is slowly going back to it's natural color, which I think is pretty awesome.

Anna's first selfie of 2015!
I woke up to her standing next to my bed making this hilarious face of her's. The first words out of her month were "Boo Mom! I want cinnamon waffles and chips!". Annabell is the main reason why Eggo waffle is still in business. She's going to grow up and take over the company.
Overall, our New Year's wasn't bad. Last year I was in California with my family, sitting around playing board game's until the ball dropped. The entire time I was depressed because Dan wasn't with us, he was deployed and working so I hardly got to talk to him that day. This year we didn't do anything special, we hung out as a family though & that was perfect for me. Maybe next year our best friends will be here and we can all celebrate the holidays together like we used to. :)
Now that it's officially 2015, which means only 3 more years until we leave Germany and move back to the USA! For some reason, saying we aren't leaving until year 2018 sounds sooo depressing, but saying we only have 3 1/2 years left doesn't.
Let's all hope that these next 3 years go by as fast as the last 6 months has!
Oh, and my New Year's resolution is to cross my fingers and pray every night that Esther and Enrique get order's and move to Germany to be with us again, because life just isn't the same without them & Annabell misses her Emma.
