Yesterday we celebrated our first Christmas here in Germany and it was pretty amazing. Last year Dan was deployed while Annabell and I went back to California to celebrate the holiday's with family, so this year Christmas was pretty special for us. Annabell finally understands what Christmas & Santa are, for the most part, lol. All month long she was so excited about Christmas and seeing her face light up when she saw all her presents under the tree on Christmas morning was the best gift in the world. Although we had a pretty amazing Christmas, we still missed all our family back home and I am eagerly counting down the days until we moved back to America!

Santa came while Anna was sleeping!
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of Annabell opening up her gifts because I was using my camera to video tape it all so all our family and friends could watch (The link to the video is at the end of this post!). Annabell spent her entire day in her room playing with all of her new toys. One of her favorites is her new Barbie house & all of her new princess barbies, she literally spent all day playing with it and after she woke up this morning she instantly started playing with it again!

Another favorite of her's was all her new princess dresses! She spent most of the day dressed up as Anna from Frozen.

Her dress up closet is prettttty full now :)
She now has; Ariel x2, Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Anna, Elsa, Doc Mcstuffin's, Tinkerbell & Sofia the First!
Doctor Annabell Mcstuffins!
She loves her new Doc Mcstuffin's outfit and doctor kit! She has been giving all her barbies and stuffed animals check up's all day, watching her play and come up with all these scenarios in her head is the cutest thing.
I especially love that she gives all her patients hugs & kisses after their check up's.
Lambie is by far Annabell's favorite patient, lol.
One of the best photos I recieved yesterday was one of Emma in the same Tinkerbell costume that Anna got for Christmas. Thousands of miles apart and they are still twinsies. I showed Annabell this photo and she yelled "Oh my Emma! She's Tinkerbell too. She's so prettiful Mom! I miss my Emma Tinkerbell". Is it too late to say all I want for Christmas is for our best friends to get orders to Germany?!? Maybe next year..
I know some people say it's lame to post about our own gifts, but I'm pretty dang excited about all my gifts this year. I can honestly say that my husband goes all out and spoils the hell out of me. I can't wait to get back to America so I can spoil him with a new rifle or whatever firearm he is eyeing at the time. My favorite gifts this year, besides being able to have my little family all together, was finally getting all 8 of the Harry Potter movies (thanks Mama!), season 6 & 7 of True Blood (I know own the entire series, thanks husband!), my new little mermaid dress from my sister & my new kindle from my wonderful husband. Now Annabell and I don't have to fight over who gets to use the iPad ;)
Annabell loved painting her first ornament. We didn't do this ON Christmas day, but it's Christmas related and needed to be included. I cannot tell you how excited I am for her to start school so she can make all the adorable handmade crafts they make now-a-days.
Annabell meeting Santa Claus of as she calls him Simba Claus, lol. At first she was extremely nervous and refused to go say hi, but I was able to take her close enough to him so he could talk to her. He started asking her all about her pony doll, after that she was so excited and wanted to sit with him and talk all about her pony. For the record, Santa's favorite pony is Apple Jack and Annabell's favorite is Rainbow Dash, lol.
I use to have the same Gingerbread Man doll when I was her age that my Papo bought me. He was my absolute favorite item in the entire world, I use to sleep with him every night and take him everywhere I went. He was my security item as a child, and sadly he was stolen when I was in high school after I moved out of my parents house.I love that Annabell has one now, she isn’t as attached to him as I was, but she still loves him to death and sleeps with him at least 4 nights out of the week.
It melts my heart to see her with him.
Overall, we had a great Christmas & I want to thank everyone who sent gifts, cards, love to our little family this year! I still can't wait until we are able to go back home and celebrate with the rest of our family, but I hope these little updates, photos & videos help all our family and friend's feel included in our lives. :)
