13/52

April is officially here, it's only 3 days in but it has already been pretty amazing. Dan is on a new shift for the rest of the month & he gets 3 days off during the week which is kind of awesome. At least for Annabell, she loves having her dad home. I've had some much needed girl time and Anna has had a blast at the play dates we've gone too. I've even rekindled a friendship that I thought was lost forever & I'm so excited to start hanging out again.
So, April has already been good to us & I'm hoping the rest of the month is even better,

This past weekend the base had an Easter egg hunt for the kids, Annabell had so much fun! We went with our friends and their two adorable daughters, but as soon as the horn blew to go get the eggs the kids all split up so it was impossible to get photos of all three of them getting eggs, lol. It was a mad-house but the girls had a ton of fun.

The only "bad" incident we had was somebody stole the golden egg that Anna found right out of her basket during the chaos. I don't know who was more upset, me or Annabell. She was so excited when she found it and when all the eggs were finally picked up we stopped to go through her basket and her golden egg was gone. There was one family who was only letting their son grab the golden eggs, and they happened to run for the same egg Anna found, then it "magically" disappeared from her basket. This kid had atleast 4 golden eggs in his basket. I don't think it was a coincidence, but I'm a firm believer in karma.
Nothing cures the broken heart of getting you're golden egg stolen like cuddles from daddy.

The only other highlight of this week was taking Easter photos of the girls!
I'm no pro, but I think they came out pretty damn cute! The girls had so much wearing the bunny ears and I got some many cute faces from them! These 3 are my favorite out of the entire set.
Afterwards the girls had a blast playing and chasing each other around the house while Crystal & I had some adult time, which included french fries. It was a successful playdate & mommy date ;)

Of course we can't forget about our Khaleesi! This week she has completely warmed up to us and has spent all week cuddling with us & giving us tons of kisses. She's even started chasing Anna around the house and trying to play with her which Annabell thinks is hilarious!
She is such an animated & adorable bunny.

Now let's all cross our fingers for some warmer weather in Germany so that next week we can take Annabell & Khaleesi to the park!
