Another week down, woohoo! That means we only have 173 weeks left here in Germany. Yes, I'm counting down the weeks because I honestly cannot wait until we are able to go back to the US and settle down. At this point ANYWHERE in the United States is closer to our families so I don't even care where we get based next as long as it has a Walmart within a 30 mile radius.
This week has been another lazy one. I was lucky enough to be cursed with the worlds worst head cold so I spent most of the week not breathing and doing my best not to sneeze on every one in the house. The only perk of being sick is having Anna as a daughter. All week she would tuck me in on the couch, give me a baby doll, read me stories and give me lots and lots of forehead kisses. If you're sick, Anna is the kid to have around. She even brought me snacks, sick-life doesn't get much better than that!
We were lucky enough to have amazingly warm weather for about a day and a half, then Germany decided that we all hated it and it got super cold again overnight, hence the horrible cold I am now finally getting over. Annabell took full advantage of the one warm day and had a dance party on the patio. I hope our neighbors like Taylor Swift because it was on repeat for over an hour, lol.
Annabell picks out the cutest outfits sometimes. She also asked me to do her hair in "FOUR braids, not THREE Mom" and then proceeded to call herself Sailor Moon all day long. Any time I spoke to her I had to say Sailor Moon. If I said thank you, she insisted I repeat myself and say "Thank you Sailor Moon". This kid.
Annabell also mastered her best Scooby Doo face this week. Her Papa will be proud, lol.
My little brother Damian makes that exact same face (second photo) and it cracks me up every time I look at it. They are definitely related!
I was also able to get some cute photos of Anna in her Easter dress. I will never, ever claim to be a pro because I honestly do not think my photography is all that great, but I think I got some really cute shots! I wish some of them hadn't of came out as blurry as they did, but I'm still trying to learn the in's and out's of my camera. Plus, I didn't have to spend outrageous amounts of money for someone to do our photos and that's always a perk. Annabell had so much fun holding Khaleesi and Khaleesi was so calm the entire time. Even Anna's notorious pouting face is adorable. I'm pretty sure I have a photo of her pouting from every single photo shoot we've done in the last 3 years, lol.
That's all for this blog post. Tomorrow I am doing some Easter photos for a friend and having some much needed girl time and then Saturday we are taking Anna to an egg hunt on base so next week's post will hopefully be a tad bit more entertaining!
