 We FINALLY got our new car!

This last weekend was extremely busy for us. We were finally able to pick up our car, after waiting nearly 5 months for it to finish being built. We are lucky enough to have awesome friends who took their time to drive us 2 hours to the town where we had to pick it up. What was suppose to be a 2 hour drive, took almost 6 hours because the traffic was SO bad. 

We were literally in stand still traffic for an hour at a time.

Annabell & I passed the time by taking selfies!

Annabell did so amazing on the long and boring car ride, she didn't complain or throw any fits. She just kept to herself and stared out the window the entire time, lost in her own little world. 

She really is the perfect child, lol.

Our hotel room was literally pink, I loved it! I am not a huge fan our the German style beds, it feels like you're sleeping on a box spring, but the bed was cute.

Annabell was extra excited that we brought her little cot, there was no way she could have fit in the bed with us. We all move way too much & one of us would have ended up on the floor.

We spent a few hours exploring the town, and then ate dinner at a delicious pizzeria right down the street from our hotel. I wished I had gotten photos of the rest of our food, but I was too busy stuffing my face, lol.

I got the best family photos during our short elevator ride to floor two, hahaha.

Annabell had a blast hanging out in the hotel.

After we picked up our car, we may or may not have gotten lost trying to find the Esso gas station, but while we were lost we drove through this adorable little town with this gorgeous church.


The rest of the weekend we spent hanging out at home and hanging out with friends. We were invited to a litle BBQ by some friends and their house was so cute. It makes me want to move off base 1000x more. We had delicous tacos, drinks and I finally got to play Cards Against Humanity for the first time! Annabell was the only kid there, but she had all the adults laughing and playing Legos with her. Did I already say that we have the best kid ever?

A family on base was giving away over 70 free toys yesterday in honor of their son who passed away 3 years ago. It was seriously the sweetest and the family was so kind, all the brothers were outside helping kids pick out toys and it was such an amazing way to honor the memory of their son/brother. My heart goes out to the family, and I thank them for making my daughters day a little bit brighter. Annabell picked out some barbie legos and hasn't stopped playing with them since.  

Annabell also got a free scooter this weekend and has turned into a scooter pro overnight!
