There's not much to update on this week.
- Dan is still in Greece.
- Annabell is still mad that he's "missing" and is on the verge of sending out a search party to go find him. According to her, he's been at the gym for way too long, lol.
- I turned 25 (Woohoo, let's all laugh and make an old lady joke!)
Annabell had a play date with her friend Caitlynn, while I remembered what it's like to talk to an actual adult, lol. Dan hasn't been gone that long, but the only person I've had to talk to is Anna and sometimes it's hard to have an actual conversation with a 3 year old who randomly throws English and Korean together in a sentence. Despite the angry looking photos, the girls had a lot of fun together. They were not happy with me when I asked them to sit down together so I could take a photo of them together, lol.
I think the high light of this week baking carrot-cake cupcakes with Annabell and then catching her sneaking into them at like 10pm at night. I went to go take a shower after tucking her into bed, then I came out and she was laying in my bed and had chocolate all over her face. I asked if she touched the cupcakes and obviously she says no, I mean who admits to stealing cupcakes at 10 at night?! I went into the kitchen and found half a cupcake in the trash, but all the frosting and sprinkles has been eaten off of it. This kid.
That night, which happened to be the night before my birthday, Annabell was up all night with a stomach ache and crying. Maybe she was being punished for lying about stealing the cupcakes, but she woke up with a fever and I woke up with a migraine. Happy birthday to me! So the rest of the day we hung out and had a lazy day on the couch while texting Dan and getting a ton of birthday love on facebook and instagram. :) I was able to skype Esther for a bit which was amazing and Anna was able to talk to Emma for a bit, they sure do miss each other. Maybe next year they will be here to celebrate my 26th birthday..a girl can dream!
I also got a few gifts from family in the mail. :)
I may or may not be a litttleee excited that my mom bought me a Sailor Moon DVD and it's in English! Annabell LOVES it. Every day since opening it Anna has asked if she can watch it in her room. Sailor Moon was my favorite tv show when I was younger. I remember my parents use to tape the episodes for me while I was at school, between them and my Nana, I'm pretty sure I owned all the movies on VHS and I had the coolest Sailor Moon lunch box, lol.
It's exciting that Annabell loves her too.
& here are a couple photos that Dan took while exploring Greece this last weekend. I'm totally jealous that he got to go, but I'm also excited that he was able to experience it.
This weekend though, he comes home and our lives will go back to normal. Annabell does not like him being gone. I gave her an early Valentines day gift from Dan and even though she was excited about it, she was sad because he wasn't home yet.
She's going to freak out when he comes back this weekend!
Here's to hoping that next week is a little more entertaining than this weeks update..
