This week has been pretty amazing. Dan is finally home and our lives are slowly but surely getting back into a regular routine again. Even though he was only gone for two short weeks, Anna's sleeping schedule was completely thrown off. Every night I would tuck her into her own bed and by midnight she was standing in my doorway with her pillow asking to cuddle with me. Needless to say, it was a long two weeks of very little sleep..

The only downfall of Dan coming home is he brought back a nasty cold and we spent almost the entire weekend lounging around the couch, not feeling well and cuddling. Annabell didn't mind it because she was more than happy to have her Dad back and hang out with him all day. We were able to catch up on our tv shows, The Walking Dead and The 100 and had some amazing Chinese food for Valentine's Day. Annabell loves watching TWD with us, for some reason zombies don't scare her, but the Big Bad Wolf  from a cartoon show leaves her in tears and running into my arms, terrified.

After having a 4 day weekend though, Dan had to go back to work today. Anna was not happy about it and the second he walked out the door she had a mini meltdown and the only thing that could mend her little broken heart was some Valentine's candy & some Sailor Moon.

On February 11, 2015, another AMAZING event that happened, my newest little sister was born! I will not be posting a photo online of her without my parent's permission, but I will say that she is adorable! I cannot wait to meet my baby sister in person and Annabell says that Ayla is "the cutest baby princess ever"! Even though we are in Germany & I won't be able to meet her in person for awhile, I am already completely in love with her and cannot wait to watch her grow up. 

Another highlight of this week was that we got a bunch of goodies in the mail from my parent's and from Esther. My parents sent some awesome birthday gift's for me, including a Groot bobble head and some new books, if you know me then you know I love receiving books as gifts! They also sent some cute toy's for Anna. She LOVES this little bird that they sent her. It talks and record's your voice and repeats it back, it even has it's own little cage with a food and water dish. Anna has named her Sheila and they have been attached at the hip since she opened the box, she even slept with the cage next to her pillow last night.

We asked Esther if she could buy Anna some new clothes since she's basically outgrown everything she owns in the last month (hello growth spurt!). Well, Esther outdid herself this time because she sent the cutest clothes! I love that my best friend works at Carter's because she got us such amazing deals on clothes that would cost 3x as much if we bought them here at the BX. I already can't wait until summer rolls around because Esther is now Anna's personal shopper. Now, i'm not saying that I don't absolutely LOVE all the clothes the rest of our friends and family send Anna, but when your best friend can score 10 pairs of pants, dresses, shirts and shoes for around $50 with her employee discount AND she buys her own daughter, who happens to be Anna's bestie, matching outfits, you assign her as your personal shopper. We would literally pay at least $150 for the same amount of clothes if we bought them at the BX because everything is so overpriced here.

So that has pretty much been our week, not much has gone on other than having Dan home, fighting off colds and sinus headaches and getting awesome gifts in the mail. 

& here's to hoping that this weeks episode of The Walking Dead is better then the last two have been!
